Biography

Susanne Schmidt completed her PhD in the Department of History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Cambridge, where she studied the history of the "midlife crisis." She was a fellow of the Arts and Humanities Research Council, German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes), and Kurt Hahn Trust. Visiting Predoctoral Fellow at the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science (summer 2016) and Visiting Fellow at the Department of the History of Science, Harvard University (2015-16). Previously predoctoral research associate (wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin) at Humboldt University Berlin.
