Cambridge AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership - Student Profiles

Biography

I studied physics and did a PhD in physics (experimental quantum optics) at the University of Tübingen in Germany. In this time, I became more and more interested in questions that concern physics but that are not widely discussed in physics itself, but in philosophy. Therefore, I studied philosophy (also in Tübingen) and I am now very excited to do my PhD in philosophy of science in Cambridge.

Other academic interests

Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Physics, Quantum Optics, Epistemology, Metaphysics, Philosophy of Mathematics
