Cambridge AHRC Doctoral Training Partnership - Student Profiles

Biography

I did a BA in Classics in Milan, an MPhil in Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic in Cambridge, and then spent a year in Iceland studying Old and Modern Icelandic. I'm fascinated by ancient languages and literatures as much as by the Nordic world, hence my choice of focusing my research on Old Norse poetry.

Old Germanic languages, literatures and culture
Modern Scandinavian languages
Indo-European linguistics
Classical philology
