I completed a BA in Classics at Corpus Christi, Oxford (2013-2017) while concurrently taking courses in mathematics at the Open University. I then came to Cambridge for an MPhil in History and Philosophy of Science and Medicine (2017-2018). My PhD research on ancient Greek mechanics explores, among other things, the function of diagrams, issues of idealisation and abstraction, and theories of motion.
